THE events which took place immediately after the trial and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth are the subject of Mary Borden's slightly fictionized narrative. In relating these events she follows the records given in the Gospels and in the Book of the Acts, "accepting all the facts given in the Scriptures as true," but laying special stress on the character and experiences of Mary of Magdala.
